Evaluation of an Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide® Disinfectant to Inactivate Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus in Swine Feces on Aluminium Surfaces under Freezing Conditions

This study evaluated the activity of AHP® against Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus (PEDv) in swine feces on metal surfaces, particularly under freezing conditions to simulate winter weather. The data indicate that 1:16 and 1:32 dilutions of AHP® successfully inactivated the virus at -10 degrees after 40 and 60 minutes of application.
