Kennel Disinfectants for Microsporum canis and Trichophyton spp.

This study evaluated the activity of five disinfectants, including AHP®, against Microsporum and Trichophyton species (which commonly cause ringworm in dogs and cats) in vitro. No growth was observed in plates treated with AHP®. The authors proceed to recommend the use of AHP® for decontaminating kennels exposed to ringworm-causing fungi.
