This study evaluated the activity of AHP®, sodium hypochlorite and quaternary ammonium compounds at reduced concentrations and contact times against several strains of drug-resistant bacteria. The findings indicate that AHP® was at least as effective against drug-resistant strains of bacteria compared to control strains, reinforcing the idea that antibiotic-resistant organisms are not more resistant to disinfectants.
